Day 1 – Friday
Hotel Check In: Hyatt Place Centennial Park
Lunch at Mary Mac’s Tea Room
Wander around Atlanta Botanical Garden.
Fernbank Museum of Natural History: Fernbank after Dark.
*Fernbank Museum of Natural History hosts an “after Dark” experience once a month, so be sure to check their website here for a full schedule! If you aren’t traveling to Atlanta during one of these experiences, I recommend a little itinerary shifting so you could still see the museum. It is small, but it is worth the trip!
Day 2 – Saturday
Breakfast at Thumbs-Up Diner (An absolute MUST!)
Visit the Ebenezer Baptist Church (Martin Luther King preached here) and MLK’s childhood home.
Catch a view of the Atlanta skyline where a scene from The Walking Dead was filmed.
Georgia Aquarium
- Be sure to go to the dolphin show and the sea lion show – they’re free!

Day 3 – Sunday
